"The fans are still writing me, they want it desperately," said Pedowitz during the Television Critics Assn. summer press tour session Monday morning. […]
"One of the things you learn about the level of these serialized shows is less may be more," he said. "Twenty-two [episodes] might have been too many. So if there’s a consideration to redo it, we’d probably go anywhere from six to 13." […]
Though Ringer […] no more, Gellar — who also served as an executive producer on the series — and the CW “have had many discussions since May,” he said. […]
Why there is no second season? The ratings in the second half were really bad - one of the lowest for theCW this season - which was is a shame because in the last few episodes you had the feeling they found their way. We shouldn’t forget Sarah Michelle Gellar is pregnant again, a shorten season would be the only option if any. Budget cuts would also seem likely because Ringer had one of the most expensive cast on theCW and the network picked up 5 new series which is the most for them so far.
Can Ringer picked up by another network? No. The series is from the CBS TV Studios so the only options are CBS and theCW which is half owned by CBS. Both networks made their descision for their line-up for the upcoming TV season. After all, Ringer landed on theCW because CBS had no timeslot for it.
What will happen to the cast? Well Sarah Michelle is pregnant, Kristoffer will be guest starring on MTV’s Akward, Zoey has a movie, Nestor and Jaime worked on pilots which should be announced soon whether they are picked up or not. About the others there is no information.
What will happen to this blog? I’m not sure to be honest. I won’t delete it though. But changes might happen to this blog but information will be shared soon enough.

Ringer 1.22 “I’m The Good Twin”
BRIDGET COMES CLEAN ABOUT WHO SHE REALLY IS — As the vow renewal nears, Bridget (Sarah Michelle Gellar) realizes she first needs to tell Andrew (Ioan Gruffudd) the truth about who she really is. Meanwhile, just as Bodaway Macawi (guest star Zahn McClarnon) starts to close in on Bridget, Agent Machado (Nestor Carbonell) is forced off the case and Henry (Kristoffer Polaha) decides whether he should tell Bridget the truth about Siobhan. Zoey Deutch also stars. Eriq LaSalle directed the episode written by Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder

Tell TheCW you want another season of Ringer via Twitter or Facebook or on their official website. Another way to support the series is to buy the episodes or the full season online (legally). Go to Itunes and buy the season pass or selective episodes. On Clicker.com you can find where you download or stream the episodes legally.
Something that doesn’t add anything to the descision whether the series will be renewed or not (they just help to raise their website traffic) but helping the spirit of Ringer fans - go online and vote in polls like on E!’s Save One Show.
THE MASTERMIND BEHIND THE ATTEMPTED MURDER IS REVEALED — Catherine’s (guest star Andrea Roth) plan to drive Andrew (Ioan Gruffudd) and Bridget, posing as Siobhan (Sarah Michelle Gellar), apart unravels. Agent Machado (Nestor Carbonell) discovers who wanted to kill Siobhan all along and rushes to intercept the killer before it is too late. Meanwhile, Siobhan’s plan to help Henry (Kristoffer Polaha) backfires when the main witness suddenly dies. Janice Cooke directed the episode written by Scott Nimerfro.
